Trehane Scholarships Awarded for 2016

Thomas Allison and Anna Jones are the new Trehane Trust Scholars who will be studying topical aspects of the dairy industry for the Trehane Trust in 2016:

  • Thomas Allison (Cardigan, Pembrokeshire, Wales).  Thomas will study: ‘Why are high-tech systems designed for the livestock industry underutilised – what prevents their successful adoption’
  • Anna Jones (Bristol, Avon, South West) ‘Help or Hinder? Examining the Coverage of Farming Issues in the News Media’   Anna is jointly sponsored with The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society

I am sure you wish to join me in congratulating our new 2016 Nuffield Farming Scholars on their awards.

We are also very appreciative of the Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust who conducted the applications process on our behalf.  The Trehane Trust Scholars for 2016 are also Nuffield Farming Scholars.
