The Trehane Trust Dinner was held at The NEC, Birmingham on Tuesday 7 July 2015, the eve of the Livestock Event. For the first time the Trehane Trust welcomed to the dinner, not only Trehane and Nuffield scholars, but all dairy farmers and members of the supply sector.
The Trehane Trust together with the RABDF jointly hosted The Trehane Trust Annual Scholars’ Dinner on Tuesday 7th July, the evening before the Livestock Event at the NEC. Historically the dinner has been held in London and attended by dairy farmers, producers, Nuffield scholars and sector leaders. However, this joint initiative allowed even more dairy farmers to attend and provide the opportunity for the supply trade to meet with some of the UK’s very best – those who form the backbone of the dairy industry.
The evening began with a reception at 6.00 pm in the Gallery Restaurant above the Atrium at the NEC. During the dinner the returning scholars updated the audience on their awards. Gwyn Jones, AHDB Board member was a fascinating guest speaker who rounded off the evening with a stimulating talk and questions.
